The economy started adjusting itself in a way they hadn’t anticipated

Today, I was remembering an email I received a number of weeks back from clients of mine.

We’ve been working together for 3 years now; the first year seeing them enjoying PHENOMENAL results (as always happens) just from simple little tweaks that were easy to do; but then as they started to grow seriously the economy started adjusting itself in a way they hadn’t anticipated and they, then, were somewhat tempted to “cut costs” by ending our coaching partnership at the end of the program they were in then.

They’re savvier entrepreneurs than that so they continued by up-levelling into yet another program that suited their business at this new level they’d reached.

I’ll admit that it was a challenge for them to keep their spirits up while doing their absolute best to keep their heads above water … but with the outside support of our coaching partnership THEY SUCCEEDED.

While many businesses in their area reduced their crew to a minimum and even more closed their doors, these folks kept going.

And now they reported in that

“we just got the go-ahead on the “project – name”, which will be the largest contract we have ever done!As well as “project – name” which will surpass the other one as THE LARGEST CONTRACT we have ever done!!“

And, yes, of course, these projects are profitable. We would have it no other way.

As you can imagine, I, myself, am on Cloud 9 with these contractors.

Working this closely with people results in my “caring” deeply for them (not just their results); and especially when I work this closely with people over an extended period. (Heck, with one of my current clients his son is nearly finished college and he was in early elementary school when we first started working together. 🙂 With another client, I’ve seen their elementary school son (when we met) go all the way to college on a hockey scholarship!)
